Ishika Banerjee: I will listen to Lana and never shut up about it, interesting article though I think I agree with the glorification of mental illness aspect. I think people who are bored and have nothing else going on in their lives like to make themselves feel more interesting than they are. To me as long as they don't harbour any toxic ideas or inflict them on others im usually okay, but the lines can blur sometimes and people who don't fully understand the complexities of mental illness and use movies like this as an aesthetic crutch tend to spread misinformation about the community.
