What is Peliplat?
We are a film and television information platform that gathers comprehensive and authoritative data about movies and TV shows. We offer a new space where users can upload, create, and share content—whether it's videos, articles, discussions, or lists—about their favorite films and series. With interactive features like commenting, following, and liking, users can share their passion for the film industry with other film buffs. We also offer reviews and a rating system specifically adapted for the Latin American audience.
Peliplat is all about celebrating the magic of cinema and television while fostering a community of passionate film lovers.

Account
What are the benefits of registering?
You can create a Peliplat account using your phone number, email address, Facebook or Google account. Once you’ve created your Peliplat account, you’ll be able to:
  • Find detailed information about movies, TV shows and celebrities, and share it with your friends.
  • Create your very own original videos and articles to share with the Peliplat community.
  • Create lists of your favorite movies and TV shows, so you can easily and quickly find them.
  • Customize your lists with our colorful and dynamic templates.
  • Write reviews about your favorite movies and TV shows and share them on Facebook, X, and WhatsApp.
  • Like lists created by other users and save them in Favorites.
  • Manage your activity on Peliplat: lists, favorites, likes, ratings, reviews, comments, and more!
How to change your password

Click on your profile image in the upper right corner to open the drop-down menu.

Go to "Settings" and select "Account security".

on “Change/Set” and follow the steps to change your password.
How to link your email or phone number

Click on your profile image in the upper right corner to open the drop-down menu.

Go to "Settings" and select "Account security".

There, click on "Link email" or "Link phone number".

Follow the steps and click on "Finish".
Once you link your email or phone number, you’ll be able to use it to log in or to change your password.
How to link your Facebook or Google account

Click on your profile image in the upper right corner to open the drop-down menu.

Go to "Settings" and select "Account security".

There, click on "Link Facebook account" or "Link Google account".

Follow the steps and click on "Finish".
Bear in mind that you can only unlink an account if you have linked more than one option to it. For example, if you created an account using an email address and want to change it, first link a phone number or a Google account. Then, you will be able to unlink your email.
When you create an account using your Facebook or Google account, you won’t need to enter a password. However, to set a password, you will need to link your email or phone number.
Content Creation
Peliplat offers many quick-posting options. If inspiration strikes, you can use them to quickly publish your content (e.g., the “+” icon in the top right corner of the homepage or the quick-posting option under the Discussion tab).
Don’t forget to read our “Posting Guidelines” before creating your content. Your content will only be published if it complies with Peliplat's publishing rules.
What is "My studio"?
“My studio” is a special section where you can create, upload, and share videos, articles, and lists with everyone on Peliplat. In “My Studio”, you'll find all your created content and be able to edit and manage it whenever you wish.
How to upload a video
On your PC
There are two different ways to upload a video:

Go to “My Studio” and click on “Upload a video”.

Then, click on "Select file".

Choose the video* you would like to upload.

Once your video is uploaded, you will be able to add a title, description, and other information.

Click on "Submit" to publish it.

Go to "My Studio" and click on “Upload a video”.

Drag and drop the video* you would like to upload.

*Bear in mind that the video must be less than 2 GB and that the supported formats are MP4, AVI, TS, MOV, MKV, 3GP, being MP4 the best option.

How to publish an article

This page features two distinct tabs. The first, “Write Article,” allows you to compose your article. The second, “Draft folder,” gives you access to your drafts, where articles that are not yet published will stay until you're ready to post them.
On your smartphone

Click on the “+” icon in the upper right corner.

Select "Write article".

Add a title, body text, thumbnail, related titles, and other information.

Click on "Post" to publish your article.
In the bottom right corner, you will find the draft folder, where articles that have not yet been published will remain until you decide to post them.
How to post a discussion
On your PC

Go to “My studio”.

Select “Start discussion”.

Add a title, body text, and tags.

Click on "Post" to publish your discussion.
On your smartphone

Click on the “+” icon in the upper right corner and select "Start discussion".

What are Peliplat's lists?
Lists are a powerful tool for organizing your movie and TV show collections. You can create custom lists tailored to your preferences, and choose whether to share them with others or keep them private. All your personal lists can be accessed in your profile or studio.
Peliplat also provides two default lists to help you organize your titles: the “Watchlist,” where you can add movies and TV shows you want to watch, and the “Watched” list, which tracks the titles you’ve already viewed. You can easily access and manage these lists in the “Preferences” section of your profile.
Remember that only registered users can create lists.
How to create your own list
On your PC

Go to "My studio" and click on "Create list".

Enter a title, a brief description, and select the type of privacy, tags, and language you prefer.

Click on “Submit” to create your list.
On your smartphone

Click on the “+” icon in the upper right corner.

Select "Create list".

How to add titles to a list
There are three different ways to add a title:
On your list page

Click on “Edit” and select “Add/Edit items”.

Browse the movie or TV show you want to add.

Click on “Save changes”.

Click on “Add” and select the list you wish to add the title to.

Then, click on “Save”.

On the “Library” section

Click on the “...” icon in the image of the movie or TV show you want.

Select the list you wish to add the title to, then, click on “Save”.

How to edit your list
There are two ways to edit your list:

Open your list.

Update the information you want.

How to share a list

Ratings and reviews
What are Peliplat ratings?
For every movie or TV show, Peliplat offers a star-based chart where users can rate all the titles on a scale from 1 to 10. They can change that rating whenever they want, and the displayed rating will reflect the most recent update from the user.
Where to find your ratings and reviews
All activities, such as comments, reviews, likes, and more, are automatically saved to the profile of registered users. Access your profile and go to the “Review” section to view your ratings and reviews.
How to edit your reviews

Go to your profile.

Select “Posts” > “Reviews”.

Choose the review/rating you want to update.

You’ll be redirected to the title detail page.

Click on “Reviewed” and update the information you want.

Then, click on “Save” to finish.
*The previous content will be overwritten and the most recent update will be displayed.
Filter function
How to use the filter
On your PC

Go to “Library”.

There, you will see the results for The Week's Top 20 Movies by default.

Select the filter option that you want on the left menu.

The content list will automatically update based on your selected filters.
On your smartphone
If you’re visiting the Library for the first time, a short user guide will pop up to help you get started with the new filter system.

Go to “Library”.

There, you will see the filter menu on the bottom.

Swipe up to expand the filter menu.

Select the option that you want and click on “Show result”.

The content list will automatically update based on your selected filters.
Note
  • The option “Editor’s Pick” does not allow additional filters to be applied.
  • It’s not possible to select both a keyword and the “All” option under the same genre category.
  • When a filter option is selected, other tags will display a preview of how many results the current combination will yield. This allows the user to quickly determine if the filters are narrowing the search too much or too little.
What is “My Wallet”?
"My Wallet" is a section in your Peliplat account where you can link an e-wallet. By linking your e-wallet, you can easily claim your prize if you win one of our Writing Challenges. At this moment, the system only supports the VVWallet e-wallet, so you'll need to use that specific wallet to claim any winnings.

How to set “My Wallet”

Click on your profile image in the upper right corner to open the drop-down menu.

Select “Wallet” and go to “My Wallet”.

Complete the two-factor authentication, if that’s your case.

Then, click on “Bind VVWallet”.

Follow the indicated steps to complete the wallet-binding process.

How to set the two-factor authentication (2FA)
For email or phone number registered user:

Click on “Bind now” to be redirected to “Account security”.

There, click on “Link email address” or “Link phone number”.

Follow the indicated steps to complete the 2FA process.

If both your email and phone number are linked to your account, you won’t need to set up two-factor authentication
For Google or Facebook registered user:
You will need to bind both email address and phone number to complete the two-factor authentication.

How to bind your VVWallet account
On your PC

Go to “My Wallet” and click on “Bind VVWallet”.

Complete the 2FA process.

Scan the QR code to open the VVWallet app.
4
Log in to your VVWallet account and accept the binding agreement.

That’s it, wallet successfully bound.
On your smartphone
If you’re visiting the Library for the first time, a short user guide will pop up to help you get started with the new filter system.

Go to “My Wallet” and click on “Bind VVWallet”.

How to unbind your VVWallet account

Go to “My Wallet” > “Wallet”.

Spot the wallet you desire to unbind and click on “Remove”.

A pop-up confirming this action will appear.

Confirm it and complete the 2FA process.

That’s it, wallet successfully unbound.
How to change your two-factor authentication information

Go to “Settings” > “Account Security”.

Choose the information you wish to update.

Complete the ID verification process.

Link the new information to your account.
VVWallet
How to download VVWallet
VVWallet is currently available for Android and iOS* devices. You can easily download it by clicking on the buttons “Download” or “Google Play” in “My Wallet”.
For more download options, access the official website.
*At the moment, the withdrawal function is temporarily unavailable on iOS devices. However, rest assured that you can still receive your prizes and transfer your assets securely, with the highest level of protection and the lowest fees available in the market.
How to create a VVWallet account

Open the VVWallet app.

Select type of account: email or phone.

Enter your personal information.

Click on “Send code”. You will receive it via email or SMS. Check both your inbox and spam folder, if that’s the case.

Enter the 4-digit code.

Then, set your password and your payment PIN.

Lastly, complete the two-factor authentication.

That’s it, registration complete!
How to withdrawal your Writing Challenge prize
When you win a Writing Challenge, your prize will be transferred to your VVWallet account. You can withdraw it or transfer it to another e-wallet.

Select your desired currency (USDC/USDT).

Choose a withdrawal method.

Click “Next” and follow the indicated steps to finish the withdrawal process.
Transfer
