Egoist: Exploring Ethical Dilemmas Unrelated to Sexual Orientation
🌈 HAPPY PRIDE MONTH🏳️🌈 Overall, this film is enjoyable. It is not dragging, not overly self-indulgent, and even lacks the drama plotlines that I dislike the most. Instead, it gracefully depicts encounters, transformations, communication, surprises, and the continuation of life, in line with the subdued tone often found in Japanese films. As a gay movie, it even subverts the traditional narrative of sexual minority stories. Sexual orientation is not the main tension driving the entire story.
