A 20 minute documentary that captures the emotional journey of 14 Mexican undocumented students who had the opportunity to return to their home country for the first time in 20+ years as part of a study abroad Chicano Latino Studies class offered at California State University Long Beach. These students were brought up by their parents to the United States at a very young age and have been living here since then. The students had the opportunity to meet family and relatives for the first time and to learn more about their culture and roots. They were able to fly to Mexico and come back to the United States through a special USCIS permit called Advance Parole. They were excited to fly "home" for the first time, only to be confronted by a cultural shock which made them question their true identity. Follow them on this journey.
