Cabeça de Jurada (2022)

This documentary shows how the Jury Court works, a unit of the Brazilian Judiciary in charge of judging intentional crimes against life, consummated or attempted, abortions and infanticides. Based on the testimony of a juror from one of the popular jury branches in the district of Recife, Pernambuco, it is possible to understand not only the dynamics of the trial by jury, but also to get to know the backstage of this judicial procedure that is as laborious as it is fascinating.
