The ancient tragedy by Euripides is re-imagined, modernized and Americanized. His anti-heroine, Electra, is re-interpreted as a fifteen year old farm girl. Electra, who had been abandoned by her mother, Clytemnestra, years ago after the murder of her beloved father, Agamemnon, now tracks down her mother who has long been expecting this momentous confrontation.
