The Christmas Tree and the Wedding (2017)

The Christmas Tree and The Wedding is a short film adapted from Dostoyevsky's short story, of the same name. Set in Imperial Russia, a looker-on (Alexandr) recounts a party where he observed the greedy honoured guest (Julian) use his social status in order to increase his wealth and power via securing himself marriage to a young heiress (Masha).
