Peter Janov was born on August 2, 1974 in Bratislava, Slovakia. Since his early childhood Peter was involved with all sports especially water polo that his father introduced him to. As an child Peter was impressed with American movies that were not allowed in his country. Later, this made his decision to move into the U.S. in 1996. The only option for Peter at that time was to study and play water polo at college. In 1996 he started at Golden West College in Huntington Beach where he finished his A.A. degree. He won twice the Championship of California in water polo, became twice All American selection and his second year he was voted the Most Valuable Player in California. After his water polo success at Golden West College he got full scholarship to USC where he transferred in 1998. At USC, Peter finished his degree in economics and minor in geography. In 1998 Peter helped USC to win its first NCAA water polo Championship. He was voted both years All American selection. After Peter finished his study he joined the coaching stuff at USC and won additional three NCAA Championships as one of he coaches. In 2007 Peter got an offer to work in a unique life insurance industry where investors bet money on how long will people live or how soon they will die. In 2010 this business slowly dissolved and Peter started to focus on the movie business to follow his dreams from his childhood. He made a short film THE LIFE GAMLE that is a hint about his real life insurance business he was involved with and Peter plans to make a feature about it. Nowadays, Peter is part of the Brooklyn Nine Nine TV show where is a regular uniform cop. Peter is applying the same principle to movie business that made him successful in water polo.
