Bo Larsson was arrested in September 2001 and was sentenced by two legal entities to eight years in prison. In December 2004, after being incarcerated for 1 160 days, he was released and acquitted from all charges. The story begins at the youth treatment home Ekbacken, where Bo Larsson's daughter Veronica was cared for. At Ekbacken the young patients was forced to speak out about alleged abuse to the therapist Kenneth Lind. If they refused, they were punished or simply disadvantaged. During these therapeutic sessions Veronica fantasized about being abused by her father and a ring of pedophiles led by a witch she named Jessica. After her father Bo Larsson had appealed in the second court, Veronica wrote a letter to the police authorities, in which she revoked the charges she had made against her dad. The letter never surfaced.
