Christian Diesen was a Swedish legal researcher and professor of procedural law at Stockholm University. In his research he has raised the rights of the victim, the right of asylum, laymen as judges and the equality before the law. Diesen has also been hired as a commentator in case-monitoring the media, including Catrine da Costa-, Malexander-, Knutby and the Anna Lindh cases, and written fiction/crime novels with Ingemar Härd. During the 1970s he was a writer in the magazine "Musikens makt/The Power of Music".
