Lady in the Water (2006)

Cleveland Heep, a manager of an apartment complex, rescues a young girl from a pool who turns out to be a nymph from a fairy tale. As he falls in love, he tries to help her return to her world and avoid the creatures who wish to prevent her from returning home. Directed by M. Night Shyamalan, this captivating film that mixes fantasy with thriller and doses of mystery is a beautiful fable with a great performance by Paul Giamatti and is visually stunning.
