SpoilersThis movie, adapted from a fairy tale, largely reproduces the magical world of chocolate depicted in the original. It tells us that children who are not polite will get into trouble, so they should learn to be polite. In addition, another important element of the story is family affection; the little boy would rather squeeze in a small, rickety house with his family than go to the chocolate factory alone. In the end, Mr. Wonka allows the whole family to move into the factory to live together, and they treat him as a family. This big and loving family makes up for the lack of familial affection in his childhood. Kids love this movie, and it's important to let them understand the choices that poor Charlie makes.
