My favorite new drama of the year. The character-driven medical drama has reached its peak, with Freddie Highmore's performance being indispensable to its success. The handling of character relationships in this series is something other screenwriters can learn from; the allocation of screentime for the main plot and subplot is just right, and the supporting characters are also vividly portrayed. Each character is multi-dimensional, especially the two new additions, and there are hardly any stereotypical roles so far. There
is also much development potential for the various character relationships. Each episode is rich in detail and well-designed. Overall, it's engaging, refreshing, and surprisingly aligns well with the positive values in the current political atmosphere. Looking forward to the next season.
