Las Leyendas

The movie takes place in the year 1807 in the city of Puebla, New Spain. Leo San Juan, a shy 9-year-old boy, lives with his grandmother and his older brother Nando. Leo is constantly frightened, due to the legend of the Nahuala that his brother told him about. The legend speaks of an old abandoned house, in which "La Nahuala", a witch, lives.

In this new adventure Leo San Juan, Don Andres, Teodora and the Alebrije go to Guanajuato City in Mexico to stop the mummies, whom inexplicably have awaken, and rescue their friend Xochitl with the help of Luis and a new friend they met. Leo discovers the terrible secret of Rosseau, the richest man in town while the rest of the gang realizes that everything has been a setup.

Based on a famous Mexican legend, a group of kids must stop the ghost of a woman whose guilt over the drowning of her own children leads her to abduct youngsters who wander the woods at night in this subtitled, Spanish language animated adventure.

Leo San Juan was imprisoned after being mistaken for a rebel insurgency by the royal army while on his way home to Puebla. But when a mysterious flying monster, known as the Chupacabra, is on the rise, attacking prisoners and guards, he must defend his fate and fight the flying monster.

Leo must get Xochitl from the underworld where Charro Negro cast her. Meanwhile, Xochitl, Evaristo, Finado and Moribunda have gotten out of Charro Negro's prison to save Don Andrés and Alebrije from an alive house.

Finado and Moribunda, two sugar skull kids, live in mythical Pueblo Calaca where they get into all sorts of trouble. But their easy way of life is going to change after a human baby crosses through the Eternal Mirror and absorbs its energy, putting a dent on the evil plans of Moira, the legendary evil witch. The skulls must save the baby and get him back to his world before Moira finds him.

Five years have elapsed since Leo San Juan relinquished his supernatural abilities and drifted apart from his companions, embracing a fresh beginning focused on familial duties and his bakery, distancing himself from the perils and quests of his past. But emerging from the depths of the Los Tuxtlas jungle, an age-old hex resurfaces, beckoning Leo to confront it. Highly recommended for those who revel in tales of enchantment and heroism.
