The Conjuring

Based on a true story documented by Ed and Lorraine Warren, a married couple of paranormal investigators. The film tells the story of the Perron family, who experienced very frightening events when their house was supposedly haunted in Rhode Island in the early 1970s. James Wan's meticulous directing gives a very specific pace to the piece, which leaves the audience fully immersed in each eerie event.

A single mother with four children suspects that her house is haunted when increasingly frightening events occur. So paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren travel to London to check it out, without worrying too much. But they are totally taken by surprise by the situation they find there. The film is one of those rare horror sequences that does not disappoint.

The Warrens are called in to investigate and solve a murder possibly tied to a demonic possession. Will Ed and Lorraine be able to use their skills as paranormal investigators to discover the truth about the case? The third film in The Conjuring Universe expands the saga with a mysterious and intense story tailored for fans of the horror genre.

With the plot under wraps, it is know that the sequel will portrail another Warren case, with some connectivity to The Nun II. Directed by Michael Chaves and likely marking a franchise finale, the film promises to weave into the broader Conjuring universe. New characters will join Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, who reprise their roles as the Warrens.
