Casper

When her late father inherits a decaying mansion, Carrigan Crittenden is convinced that a treasure is hidden there and contacts therapist James Harvey to expel a group of ghosts from the house. Harvey moves into the house with his daughter Kat and she befriends Casper, the ghost of a child, but Casper's ghostly uncles are against all mortals. Casper was produced by Steven Spielberg, has good special effects and a sentimental but entertaining story.

Living under the care of his uncles, the Ghostly Trio, Casper has been letting them push him around and making his afterlife miserable by having him do chores for them while they are scaring "fleshes" for their amusement. While taking a vacation, he meets with a good little witch named Wendy, as she and her bewitching aunts are on the run from an evil warlock named Desmond Spellman who attempts on destroying her after discovering that she will be a greater witch than him. Like Casper, she is a kind witch who also has her relatives mistreating her. They become good friends as they discover that ghosts and witches are each other's worst enemies, so they come up with a plan to make their relatives pair up to one another. Once Desmond comes to town, he determines to destroy Wendy at once. It is now up to Casper as he must get the courage to convince his uncles to help him to save Wendy and her aunts from Desmond.

When Casper failed to show up at the Ghost Central Station, he instead finds himself in the world of the living where he befriends a 10-year-old boy named Chris Carson who loves ghosts and the supernatural and has a workaholic father named Tim who spends little time with him as he attempts to tear down an old mansion to update the town. Casper also meets with the Ghostly Trio who, along with Chris, are willing to help him become a better ghost. Meanwhile, a monstrous ghoul named Kibosh, the head of the Ghost Central, discovers Casper's absence and sends out his assistant, Snivel, to find him and bring him back at once.
