LENA CORBYN (59) lives a simple life on a winter campsite in the Swiss Alps. When her father dies, she inherits a third of the family business - CORBYN COMMODITIES, a mining empire with a history of exploitation. With two campsite friends, Lena devises a bold plan to revolutionize the company by closing a harmful coal mine and granting employees ownership. But her ambitious plan provokes existential angst in Lena's sister and niece, who will stop at nothing to preserve their privilege and the status quo. As the sisters navigate old wounds, the battle for control of the company becomes a clash of values that unravels decades of carefully guarded family and business secrets and challenges the very foundations of wealth, power, and corporate ownership.
