Anna, a successful Moscow lawyer, returns to her hometown every year to remember with her parents the day when the main tragedy occurred in their family. Ten years ago, Yulya, Anya's younger sister, disappeared. Mother and father never came to terms with the loss, and still believe that Yulya is alive. And one day a miracle happens. In a television story about an underground factory, Anya's mother recognizes her missing daughter among the people rescued from labor slavery. And their friend policeman Aleksey helps bring Yulya home. Her family surrounds her with love and care. But Anya cannot believe that this girl is her sister. She begins her own investigation to bring the impostor to clean water.
