The beloved TV family, Tuuli, Arbo and now teenagers Andres and Kristjan, set for another family vacation, this time they opt for a wild, colorful and rather dangerous adventure in Indonesia. They talk to mummies in Sulawesi, save orangutans in Sumatra, escape from a furious head hunter with a machete in wild Papua, try to get enlightenment in Bali, make blood sacrifices with the locals and hope to be accepted by dead ancestors and living locals, alike. Indonesia consists of about 17 500 islands, each with its own unique culture. It is a land of opposites - Indonesia has former flourishing kingdoms, but cannibalism was practiced in some parts only recently, and there are still uncontacted tribes in the Papuan jungle. Indonesia is located on the ring of fire, it has 400 volcanoes, earthquakes, tsunamis and floods. Islands appear and disappear. In this travel series we see the strangest traditions, such as those related to death. Some keep the dead at home to constantly ask them for advice and help, others exhume their deceased loved ones every now and then to take a family photo and introduce their ancestors to the younger generation. Indonesia also has a Muslim matriarchy, a shrine that unites all religions, and the best coffee in the world.
