A high school senior Margo (18) finds a pregnancy test in a school bathroom and lies about being pregnant to her boyfriend Rett, whom she is desperate to get back. This situation accidentally hits her makeup blog, which quickly goes mega-popular. However, as the web of lies extents, everything gets more and more complicated: her family won't talk to her, she is on a verge of being expelled from school and Rett still breaks up with her. At the same time Margo becomes friends with Amina, whose test she found in the bathroom. Turns out she had sex at a school disco with a guy she doesn't even remember. The only thing Amina recalls is the braided bracelet on the guy's arm. Now she has to decide whether to keep the baby or have an abortion, as becoming a mother is a big obstacle on the way to her dream of becoming a professional dancer. Margo vows to find the father of Amina's child and dives into the world of teenage rumors. While Margo doesn't succeed at finding the guy, when Rett comes back to reconcile with her, the audience notices the braided bracelet on his hand.
