Gôsuto yankî (2024)

Kazemachi Togeru, a high school senior whose promising track and field career was abruptly halted by a serious injury, grapples with feelings of loss and alienation. During a run, he impulsively dashes into the path of car, only to find himself transformed into a "ghost" soon after. Confused and panicked, Togeru flees the scene and encounters the members of "WANPAKU-DAN," a group of delinquents from the bygone Showa era: Goro, Junpei, and Chitta. Despite having passed away nearly 40 years ago, they reveal they're unable to move on to the afterlife. Meanwhile, another former "WANPAKU-DAN" member, Bachi, has aligned himself with the mischievous "Rebel Spirits" in the spirit world... Though Togeru initially struggles to connect with these passionate delinquents stuck in a different era, he gradually forms a bond with them. Each harbors their own reasons for resisting the pull of the afterlife, and hidden truths await discovery.... Amidst the turmoil of the spirit world, they navigate challenges together, their journey unfolding into a heartwarming and amusing tale of camaraderie and resilience.
