Triple Nine (1995)

Season 1: James Lye and Wong Li-Lin star in this 13-parter police series as dedicated inspectors who go about solving cases such as drunk driving, missing children, organ sales and rape. The show's selling point is its distinctly Singaporean setting, so expect a prominent backdrop of HDB flats and hawker centres. As befits a cop drama, there are many adrenaline-pumping action scenes as well.
