A completely broken down Satyaki decides to call off his marriage, and goes on a small vacation to his aunt's house at Jonai. On his visit to the place uncanny events start taking place. First, his cousin brother Saibal dies of a heart attack on the day of Holi. His wife Ranja, in a state of utter shock and disbelief, starts hallucinating about her husband long after his death. Satyaki on probing, finds out that Ranja is suffering from schizophrenia and hatches a plan to get her out of this state of denial and hysterical anxiety.
