Boss, the owner of the shop, lost his wife to gun violence a few years back. His daughter, Camille, has returned home to be with her dad and falls in love with an old friend, Joseph, who has been waiting years to be with her. Since 1992, the Village has served as a staple in the hood but, through all the turmoil and pain, Boss holds it down.
