The Long Season (2023)

In the small town of Hualin, taxi driver Wang Xiang (played by Fan Wei) never dreamed that he would have the opportunity to meet the person he most wanted to meet and yet feared the most in his life. Is it an enemy or a friend? If he meets them, he must explain it to himself and to his son. At that time, in the small town of Hualin, train driver Wang Xiang was full of spirit. He could drive a 20-car steel beast but couldn't manage his small family's trivial matters. The factory was on the verge of collapse, and crises were everywhere. A bag of unidentified body parts was like a stone thrown into the water of Hualin, and it also hit Wang Xiang's mind. The ripples lasted for 20 years, never stopping until the autumn leaves turned yellow. A lost father, a deceased lover, and a reunited old friend were trapped in three different eras because of an unsolved mystery. They were only seeking the truth that spanned the past, present, and future. When the mystery was solved, time and space merged into one, and only the elegy of fate remained in the long seasons.
