Sabishii oka de kari wo suru (2022)

Midori Kuwamura is a private investigator who received a request from Atsuko Nozoe, a librarian who wanted to find out what happened to Tadao Oshimoto, a man that has been in prison for assaulting her seven years ago. Atsuko shared that she is afraid of the words Tadao told her during the trial that he will take revenge. This reminded Midori of her painful past caused by her ex-boyfriend, Kenjiro Kuga. Despite Midori's help, Atsuko was still attacked by Takao. At the same time, Kenjiro appeared in front of Midori and attacked her. After experiencing never-ending hell, Midori vows to take her revenge and "hunts" before she gets "hunted".
