Prophets

After her spiritualist mother dies, directionless dropout Andy Bishop returns to her home in rural Victoria with not much more to her name than the chip on her shoulder. An old friend, neuroscience grad Elias reminds her of the strange visions she had as a child. Though he recalls visions that led to quests and adventures, Andy's hazy memories are clouded with fear and confusion. The two stumble upon an isolated building in the middle of nowhere, though the air of abandonment is soon dispelled when armed guards appear. After a terrifying interrogation reveals a protected community, Andy and Elias are inducted into the secretive world of remote viewing and modern-day prophecies. But when the walls of their sanctuary become a cage, Andy and the other prophets are faced with the age-old question: is it possible to change the future? And how much will it cost them to do it?
