A research journey to Pontus, not that of Asia Minor, but of what continues inside Greece, hosted by Iro Saia. A six-episode documentary series that highlights the rich history, the cultural identity, the elements that instilled so much beauty and power in the soul of the Greeks of Pontus. Exactly 100 years after their violent return, the frontiersmen who flourished from 800 BC until 1922 AD in the areas around the Black Sea, manage to maintain their historical identity and continue to be one of the most dynamic parts of Hellenism. We will visit the places they settled after the uprooting to highlight the values that have kept this breed so special for 3000 years. What is the idiosyncrasy of this glorious Greek race?
