The Time of the Wolf

Let me tell you a story. Thousands of years ago, all the Gods and Goddesses lived in a paradise known as Asgard. All mortals who saw it called it Eden. Sometimes, the elves resided with them, sometimes not. And then it all went wrong. Man made war on them. After this, they quarrelled and split up into various groups, moved to different parts of the earth. And when all mortals who came into contact with them discovered they couldn't kill them, they made them their Gods, told stories of their deeds, died for them, did terrible things in their name.
