Rorik

The story begins in the IX century at Lake Ladoga just across from Scandinavia at dark and troubled time of mages and witches, callous gods and ancestral curses, princes and knights, betrayal, feasts and bloody wars. Such time calls for a true hero, Rorik, the slave who grew up in exile without a father, in poverty and contempt, the descendant of the Vikings and the initiator of the first great Russian royal dynasty. The boy destined to become the ruler and influence the history of the world.
