Demi & Ace (2022)

Demi and Ace is an upcoming webseries that focuses on two friends going through the mishaps of the rom-coms you know and love, with one twist: they are both on the asexual spectrum. The show breaks stereotypes assigned to asexuality and offers much needed representation of the asexual-aromantic spectrum. The rare cases of asexual representation in entertainment often portray it as a whimsical character quirk or even as a trait signaling coldness and emotional unavailability. As a response to these harmful misrepresentations, our team is creating a show in which its main characters are on the asexuality spectrum AND are fully characterised, realistic people outside of their sexual identities.
