A Danish family with three children moves into Nicaragua's jungle. Glenn, the father of the family, expects that within five years there will be a global collapse so that people must be able to grow their own food and supply themselves with electricity and water. Therefore, he wants the children to learn to cope in a completely different world than the one they know - and the children find it difficult to leave their safe everyday life in Denmark.
