Overheater

Overheater is a sci-fi comedy set in a lazily dystopian world, in which a young couple must negotiate life and love while dealing with their new house guest - a depressed robot shopkeeper they've saved from the scrap heap. A proof of concept short film, 'System Error', starring Nick Nemeroff and David Quirk, was produced first. The short was financed by the South Australian Film Corporation, and is an adaptation of writer/director Matt Vesely's acclaimed live show 'Matt Vesely And George The Robot Perform A Very Normal Stand Up Comedy Routine', as seen at Adelaide Fringe 2019.
