Bashkallajk (2023)

Liza a student girl from Prishtina (Kosovo) lives with her easy-going cheerful father Anton an unemployed history teacher and her Yugo-Nostalgic grandma Zoja a haughty lecturer in retire.She fell in love with Abdurahim (Ben) from a village of Tetovo who lives with his wealthy conservative Muslim father Nexhdet a widow man .Liza's family seek intellectual,modernist and liberal on the other hand Ben's is more traditional and religious.The dating couple choose to marry despite Zoja's disagreement who has a huge dislike toward non-intellectual and traditional people and calls them "villagers" and wont let Liza live in Tetovo.Things will change when an unpaid credit will make Anton's family leave the home but Nexhdet suddenly pays the credit and is now their homes owner.He decides to live in Prishtina in good of his "naive" son and Liza's "degraded" family. Now both of families live in one home and situation will get more troubled when Merita Anton ex-wife a soprano will live with them.
