"Ludens'' is the ultimate convenience store that says, "If customers want something, they should get it even if it means breaking the law''. The people who gather under the careless and suspicious store manager are an excommunicated gangster, a modern high school girl, a frustrated trainee doctor, a talented former bullied child, a pathological kleptomaniac, and a police officer with no sense of justice.
