The animal control has the worst aim, so they don't hit the dinosaurs because it would be too "violent". The only violence is when people get eaten off screen.

As of Season 2, despite its TV-Y7 rating, there is at least one use of "god" in the episode "Up the River," and one use of "damn" in the episode "Troubled Waters" respectively.
