Call Me a Bad Girl (1984)

Verbally abused by her mother at every opportunity, Shoko Soga has become a nervous, self-destructive wreck. She falls in love with Tetsuya Kuki, whom she sees as her rescuer and takes a new job at a canteen. However, Tetsuya's mother confronts her and orders her never to see her son again, as he is already engaged to Kyoko. While she is still trying to extricate herself from this delicate situation, she is arrested while trying to help some friends on the wrong side of the law and sent to a juvenile correctional facility.
