Daasi (2021)

Daasi is a concept, which puts light on superstition and how it affects people's lives. This illness has been rooted in society since hundreds of years. Though we have advanced in various fields, we still believe in some very dangerous old superstitions, which often become the means of exploitation of our own self. Women and men are both have faith in these old rituals but mostly women have to bear the burnt. Because of society's pressures women sometimes lose the confidence, build taboos and entangled themselves into superstitious customs. This illness has spread its symptoms not only just in rural areas but also in urban societies. Daasi series will bring forth such evil, old age practices and their exploitations in families across India. With each episode we want to convey the message to people about these evil practices and customs, which is need of the hour.
