Diepe gronden (2022)

Anna van Kessel, a behavioral expert who works for the National Police Agency and is deployed at various locations in the Netherlands to advise on ongoing (murder) investigations, is called in on a case in the Weerribben. There, the body of 17-year-old Daphne Oosthoek (Sterre van Woudenberg) is found naked and with a plastic bag around her head in the water, which quickly leads to the suspicion of a sexual motive. Michel van Ginkel (Chris Zegers), the forester of the Weerribben, is the last person to have seen her alive. When Anna discovers a link with another girl who disappeared three years earlier, the case gains momentum. And when another girl disappears, all alarm bells go off and Anna and the police team realize that they may be too late.
