16-year-old Samira (Kaouthar Boulfazat), who lives in a socially deprived area, dreams of a great career as a singer and hopes that this will give her and her little brother Yasin the ticket to a better life. While she is constantly confronted with new problems at home, Samira finds support in her music. Together with her sandbox friend and beat producer Rico, she writes her own songs and works on her big breakthrough. With her clique, which includes her best friends Emily (Dana Michelle Bloch), Toni (Robin Edwell) and Celine (Lisa Gänger), Samira has found a surrogate family. Then Samira meets Nick (Justin Schmidt), an amateur DJ who gives her new hope. Nick comes from a rich family and maintains contacts in the music scene. He falls head over heels in love with Samira and supports her. Through him, the teenager meets stars like Eunique and Mrs. Nina Chartier. But when her mother suddenly leaves the family, the only 16-year-old must suddenly provide for the family alone.
