Palampur Express (2009)

Palampur Express is an inspiring story revolving around a middle class 17 year old girl called Paavni Dixit She is a carefree young girl and lives with her father and grandmother in a small town called Palampur, hence the name Palampur Express. Paavni dreams of getting a career in sports, in the field of athletics. She wants to go to the Olympic Games and represent India in running. Paavni also has a love interest in the form of her childhood friend, Dhruv. Paavni has to deal with her grandmother's disapproval of her participation in any sporting activity, which stems from her traditional attitude about the role of women in society.
