Time2Shine (2011)

Time2Shine was a British gospel television series aired by OHTV on Sky channel 199 in the UK and Ireland from 2011-2014. Throughout the competition, applicants would enter an audition process with producers and subsequently enter the solo heats if successful, going on to a boot camp and numerous group battle rounds. The show was founded and Executive Produced by Mercy Balogun; gospel singer, song-writer and entrepreneur. Auditions were held across the UK in London, Manchester and Birmingham. Finals were held at various prominent music locations for each season, including IndigO2 and Hackney Empire. Series winners received a prize valued at £100,000 consisting of management, a record deal, a performance at the Barbados Gospel Festival and £10,000 in cash.
