The film focuses on one aspect of love - love someone who doesn't love you. Ngoc Thao plays the role of Bao Quyen - a dull, difficult girl, and Sy Thanh dyes her hair blonde to play the role of Minh Hy and passionate about materialism. Ky Nam plays the role of an American student returning to Da Lat and suffering from a tragedy: loving Bao Quyen's lover.
