The four fathers Gerd, Mark, Timo and Andreas get to know each other when their children start school and develop a friendship with each other. All four take their responsibilities as legal guardians seriously, but each of them has a different and sometimes complicated family situation in the background. The four episodes tell these family situations from the perspective of the person concerned.
