Paradiso

Anton Lubowski, a white Namibian lawyer and international spokesperson for the South West African People's Organisation (SWAPO), is brought in to defend and acquit the Upington 26: a group of 26 black Africans charged under common purpose law for a single murder, a crime punishable with the death penalty. Anton throws himself into the case, leveraging his public celebrity in this opportunity to fight against Apartheid, but in doing so he is pitting himself against the both the pro-Apartheid government and the state police, risking losing both his family and his life.
