"Pop and Politics" - reflects history through a musical and feminist filter, depicts the time from when rock music emerged during the 1950s to the 2000s. In this context, politics is more linked to the development of society than to the more traditional left-right concepts and the series analyzes what both hit songs and classic protest songs say about their time.
