From a trailer park in rural Virginia to life as an artist in Brooklyn, Russell is a genderqueer punk poet living on the edge in NYC. A complicated relationship ensues with Paul, a closeted man crippled by the constraints of his conservative upbringing, as they both try to survive in the brutal, lonely city.
