1993 year. 14-year-old Sanka Ryabinin lives a normal teenage life - looking for adventure, trying to defend himself against district bullies, does not want to go to music school, does not know how to communicate with girls and from which adults to take an example. On the one hand - an honest, but poor family with a saleswoman mom and dad assistant professor, on the other - the dangerous world of Afghan veteran Uncle Alik. And then there is the girl Zhenya, acquaintance with whom launches a series of irreversible events that will forever change the life of Sanka, his family and friends Vovka and Ilyusha. Escaping from the hooligans, Sanka steals the car of the local criminal authority, and everything changes in an instant. And then - a showdown with adult Caucasians, peers, between parents in the kitchen, with their boys and so on. Will he be able to cope with all the problems, once in the heart of events? Will he be able to save his family and finally understand who he is? Only one thing is clear - life will not be the same as before. Not for Sanka himself, nor for all of Russia.
