Cocoon Cake (2020)

Dan Marino, a science-fiction detective, investigates the disappearances of citizens from Cocoon Town whom nobody remembers, not even the people who live there. He is accompanied by his driver and loyal friend, Curtis, who hides a dark secret. Dan will meet some very unusual people in that city, like Ren, a conspiracy podcaster who sees weird things when he's high, Ann, a girl with a tragic backstory, and a group of bizarre people who use diseases as their code name.
