Nokun Txai - Nossos Txais (2019)

Nokun Txai - Nossos Txais is a reflection of the process of resistance and adaptation of the Amazonian indigenous culture in the face of contemporaneity, from the peoples of Acre, who in recent years have become a reference in the cultural, political and spiritual valorization of their traditions. The series, which was built directly with the portrayed indigenous people, also takes a look at environmental, social and human issues, in a Brazil in constant transformation of its political scenario. They are encounters of worlds, which sometimes converge, sometimes distance themselves. Sometimes they merge, sometimes they are confused. Tradition, modernity, threats and resistance. Traditional peoples in the face of modern society, of which they are also part, citizens of the world, who at times contribute to their improvement, at times are severely impacted by it.
